On 6th January 2003, Syarikat Prasarana Negara Berhad acquired Langkawi Cable Car to operate and maintain the system under a new company name, Panorama Langkawi Sdn Bhd.

LADA is the owner of all buildings, structures, installations, machineries and equipments of Cable Car System linking the Oriental Village to Gunung Mat Chinchang at Mukim Padang Matsirat, Daerah Langkawi.

Syarikat Prasarana Negara Berhad, is the ultimate holding company under Ministry of Finance Incorporated, a body incorporated in Malaysia on 11 August 1998.
